The theme of the latest CG Challenge - Uplift Universe: Alien Relations, offered by CGSociety.org, explores the interactions of aliens and humans, and the competing artists showed their talents for creating some crazy altercations.

Softimage is proud to announce that its Italy-based customer “ThE-ShiFT” has won the Video Team Master & Art Direction Award. This is the second time that they have won the CG Challenge! Both times, they realized everything, even compositing, in SOFTIMAGE|XSI.
